Nora sat, or pretty much fell into a sitting position on the floor of the cave. Her face was a mask of confusion, sadness, and just empty. All she had known was gone, she had hoped for a time that maybe her friends might still be out there, or at least she would find out what happened to her old life. But who was she kidding, she was just telling herself there was hope for all that until now. This woman, Janette wasn't even born during 9/11, and she was talking about an attack on the pentagon that she had never even heard of. So unless time travel was suddenly possible she had been what missing and frozen for fifty or so years? How was that even possible, she hadn't aged a day, and how had this happened. Nora needed to time to process this all, as it all finally started to sink in, she could feel herself unravelling and she didn't want to fall apart in front of them. Especially not her knew friend Gjoran she had put on a brave and strong face this whole time she didn't want him to think her weak.
"I'm sorry I am suddenly not very hungry. You two can share the food I am going to just go find some place to sleep." And then without another word she picked up a blanket and the flashlight and wandered further back into the cave. She found a small room further in that was sheltered and had no wind from the mouth of the cave. She made a little bed, laid down and pulled the blanket up to her face. After turning the light off she buried her face in the blanket and let lose a quiet sob.
