*°Hell as White as Snow°* (A Role Play)

"No, we really aren't. Going through some rough times currently. But, I have faith that our Führer will do good work in Germany. He's a brave man with great ideas, and that's what we need right now...I just wish that none of this had happened, at least not yet. My country is what matters to me most, and right now I'm not there to see what happens." Dierk stated rather grimly, "I just hope this is all over soon. But, I feel like anything happening quickly here is impossible."
"Führer?" Ian raised his brows. He looked questioningly to Madeleine, wondering how they could break the war results kindly to the man.

Madeleine's eyes went wide as she realized how hard this was going to hit the German. "Dierk," she said gently, "Germany lost the war. Le Führer died. C'est what Ian meant when il said Germany wasn't doing well."

"Actually," Ian said, wincing slightly as he continued, "it's a lot worse than that."

(The great thing about having Ian from 2752 is I can control history  this is gonna be fun)

Nora listened to the new comers talk to everyone. She was more then a little apprehensive of this new man but she was going to follow the old rule of innocent until proven guilty. She would treat him no different then anyone else, but she would watch him, just in case her gut was right.
"Can I help you with anything?" Janette asked quietly. She was concerned with where this would go, having a mid-war German amongst them, and she could tell Nora was as well.

(You guys have no idea how much I'm laughing right now.)

Silence fell over Dierk as they explained what had really happened, and he simply stared at Madeleine as she dared to say they had lost. How could they have lost?

"What??" Dierk said rather loudly, shocked by this sudden information. He almost didn't believe it, but as he thought about it, did they really have a good chance of winning at all?
"But-but my wife, my son...Everything that happened to them was because I was willing to sacrifice everything the Führer wanted me to...I thought it would all be worth it in the end!"

Dierk looked to Ian as he said that somehow, the situation Germany was in was even worse. What could be worse than what he had just heard? What currently put meaning in his life had supposedly failed.

"How could anything be worse? What is worse in Germany right now?"

(I am too. Not sure if it's for the same reasons tho? )

Madeleine set her hand lightly on his shoulder, the only way she knew to comfort him right now. "Désolé," she said quietly. As a young mother, she could resonate with his sorrow somewhat.

Ian swallowed hard. "Germany is pretty much nonexistent," he explained. "The last World War just about destroyed the whole country."

"Can I help you with anything?" Janette asked quietly. She was concerned with where this would go, having a mid-war German amongst them, and she could tell Nora was as well.

"No but thank you. I have everything packed for when we leave for the houses, but I think I am going to wait until this settles." Nora said gesturing to the arguing and the angry German. She lowered her voice to a whisper that only Janette could hear, "Will You help me keep an eye on that one?" Janette was a cautious woman, she would no doubt be worried about the German as well. At least this way there were two people looking after him if he snapped.
