Gray looked up. "You want to fly?" He asked, pointing up at the other dragons.
Andorra nodded a little then wrote in the dirt, "Never did it before, but want to try." She waited for him to read it.

Gray looked up. "You want to fly?" He asked, pointing up at the other dragons.
Andorra nodded a little then wrote in the dirt, "Never did it before, but want to try." She waited for him to read it.
Gray tilted his head and read the words that Andorra had written in the dirt. After he understood what it said, he smiled and chuckled a little. "Okay, let's give it a go!" He said.
Lis pointed at the sky. "The sky shall tell!!" (lis is very dramatic)Pheli looked at Lis. "There aren't any clocks here... So, how will we know if it's dawn?" She asked, grinning.
---
Gray smiled, he petted Andorra's head. He looked around for something, or someone, that could help him find a saddle. "Andorra, we need to find a saddle for you. Perhaps it'll help us find a way out of this... place..." He said. "C'mon, the best idea I've got, is to ask a rider for some information." Gray started walking towards the stable entrance.
She nodded again and walked a little away from Gray. She didn't want to chance hurting him on her first fight. Especially if things went south and she had to crash landed herself. Andorra look back and watched her wings, as she extended them. Wow! They were really huge. She called herself to task and concentrated on their movements. She started working them in an uplifting motion. Her front feet were the first to leave the ground. Excited she used her back legs to thrust herself completely airborne. She was amazed at just how easy it was to get her massive bulk off the ground. She started to falter a little bit. She was thinking about flapping her wings too much. Which resulted in her flopping awkwardly to the right a little, but she was able to level out easy enough. Then a strange thing happened, it was a lot easier to just follow her intuitions, instead of thinking of flying. She soared up over the stables and then over the woods a bit. She extended her wings as an up draft caught her and glided effortlessly on it. She cut her wings in close to her to break out of the up draft and tried some trick turns to see how she would do. They were pretty rough and a little sloppy. But she had some potential with a lot of practice. She believed they'd be great in the races. Looking down at the ground again, Andorra finally spotted Gray's form. She momentarily panicked about how she was to land, but she became one with her inner dragon. She chopped cut her wings in a backward motion and slowly lowered herself to the ground, only a few feet from Gray. Her hind feet touched the ground first, then the front ones made contact. As she folded up her wings she gave a roar of elation. she looked over at Gray and smiled proudly at him. She was now confident, that she could now fly with him on her back safely.
Lis pointed at the sky. "The sky shall tell!!" (lis is very dramatic)
Gray watched Andorra as she soared through the clear, blue sky. After she had landed, Gray ran up to Andorra and smiled. "Great job!" He said, grinning. "Do you think you're ready to carry me?"
---
Pheli smiled. "INDEED IT SHALL!!!" (I noticed. XD)
Andorra nodded confidently and got down low on the ground, so Gray could easily get up on her back.
Gray smiled. He pulled himself onto Andorra's back and held on tightly. "Okay, Andorra," Gray said. "Let's fly!"
Andorra had a last minute thought. She walked over to the edge of the woods and found what she was looking for. She bit a length of woody vine off and held it up like a necklace, so Gray could hold both ends like reins. When Andorra was sure he had them, she walked back to the clearing. She spread her wings and started flapping until they were airborne. She quickly found an up draft again and they took to the sky.
Gray held the makeshift reins tightly. Once they were high in the sky, Gray looked down at the ground. "Wow, everything looks so... small!" He exclaimed.
