Laine looked over at Nightchick.
She felt a little bad about not being there to help fight, but what other choice did she have? Nobody had informed her, it was a surprise attack. She knew that if she'd known, she would've cut short her journey and returned right away. After all, even if she was injured trying, she could've pitched in to help saved Nightchick.

"Hi," she said. " I don't believe we've met. I'm Laine."
