"Well, I hope that can be fixed." FogStar started picking up plane bits.

Misty swallowed and looked away. 'That wasn't nice... they were nice people.'

She scuffled around a bit, then headed mysteriously into the forest. Laine walked up to FogStar. 'Need any help?'

Laine picked up a piece of the wing and examined it. 'Hmmm, interesting. It looked like they tried to copy what our flight feathers do... just a lot heavier.'

She pointed at the little things on plane wings that go up and down. 'I can make my feathers do that, see?' She demonstrated.

Laine contemplated the idea. 'That would be interesting to see. I have no idea how it's made though.' She examined two pieces, seeming not to fit together in any way at all.

'Ah, I see! That does work!' Laine said, starting to get a little excited. 'Why, I think this part would stay on the end there with a little cable... that's this over here...'
