'Hello, Seaflower,' Laine greeted the hen, showing off some of the sand-dusting tactics she'd developed being out of the city. She kicked up an enormous flare of sand which hit Seaflower in the face. She chuckled.

Seaflower fell scrambling in the opposite direction, the sand blinding her.
