Look, its like this - we have exactly one chance to get this right- if they find out who we are rescuing they should kill them if they are like the packs I was at war with...

One of the leaders is a quick and quiet scout- (Otter) she will make that part, she is strong in those things *compliment*- we need to know when they leave to hunt- take who we want from there- then wait for the hunters we want to take.

But we will be divided, but we would be defending the -ones-who-must-not-get-hurt and our own den and our cubs hidden here.

This isn't something we can try again later- the cubs there the ones whose heart and family is here... they will be crippled or killed by the alpha there if he wants a message sent-

What do YOU think happens to us if Bad-wolves kill who we are trying to rescue because it didn't work?

Besides we need to get the pit done.

***looks out at the large wall of pricker bushes that surrounds camp now, its nearly 2-wolves high and 2 wolf lengths wide - it surrounds the previous shorter smaller barrier.***

Hummm- a thought comes to me...

We trap the main trail there to here,

trap a side of camp that looks weak, that doesn't have quite enough bushes-

then we make a scent trap to make them think the cubs are hidden where they are not.

We hide our scents form them- maybe scouts can find their bedding? Then we'd have to really wash but our scent would be theirs...

-We hide our cubs and block were they are hiding with a fighter- like in a rabbits den, how they will try to defend the young...

The Alpha as they are staying will guard the camp itself -harming those that are attacking, making them weaker- defending those we bring back.

There is water in the herb cave, and lots of scents of the herbs, Osprey maybe gathers smelly things- stinkhorn... and the cubs and Den mother hide in there, we move some rocks infront- not to block opening-- just like the rocks at Leader's Pine...

Those kind are slippery when wet- there is water there already... so we make all the rocks in front of Herb den after cubs and Den Mother are there wet to make it too hard to get there as the bad wolves are being attacked by Alphas and Hawk how gets to crush the throat of the first attacker.

Should we not move everything and prepare camp before scouting? They might see us and we might not want the fight just yet...

The distance form there to hear is great enough, one of them hiding could just kill cubs - just to 'prove' strong.

Remember they are thieves, the leaders of that pack are not proper wolves-

Our first duty is to protect what we have- otherwise we come back to nothing but the ones we are rescuing...


This is from experience- even three adults, no four, both Alphas, Hunter-Hawk, and One Den-mother either Chipmunk or Dove... is not good odds against all of their warriors.

we might get there and find nothing, when they get here they must NOT find the cubs just our Alpha's teeth and claws.

Not all of those twelve are fighters- some are scouts some are just learning hunting...

we are already outnumbered if Four stay behind- and some must stay...
