"Anyways, my nose looks fine, now what?"

(g2g for now)

Dove suppressed a giggle. "For protection? I think what we need is the support of the other animals. Not prey animals, for sure; but friends. Something that will accept a bribe, or something, to help if the PSO attacks again. I'm glad that Squirrel and I weren't there when it happened, but--" She stopped, a look of horror flashing across her face. "Are my pups alright? Terri and Kitty? Oh, I must find out!" Squirrel was left standing by himself after Dove ran off at a gallop towards the nursery. Cocking his head, he shrugged and trotted over to Gerbil.

Sandpiper paced along the pack territory line. Hearing a mouse scuttle close by with her large cup-shaped ears, she pounced on it, speared it with a brown toenail, and sat down briefly to eat it.

Falcon shook her head "We can't trust anyone else, not on such short notice"

Oh, why not a mob of blue jays? or a murder of crows- what we don't drag back they eat... we could use them always as alarms...

It would be a permanent gesture- or scraps for alarm of man, bear or unknown/bad wolves.

I guess the same way one communicates with anything else, body language. Did you not yell at the Bear?

I guess we would wait by scraps and see what happens?

Hummm- not sure- maybe they can understand us, we can understand their warning calls. I can tell a air enemy of crows from a ground enemy from found food call.

Maybe they can understand us... it won't help for this though, you are right no time.

(later- sleepy time)

That is impatient we need our scouts to find out what is going on.

If you just want a bloody battle, you should have sent the Bear into their camp.

We are committed to this, you did not have that before- we must do this right.
