The snake darted his head forward toward Falcon's nose, but missed slightly. He then twisted his body around Kouprey's leg and looked up at him, hissing angrily.

Odysseus opened his mouth wide, exposing all his pink gums. His venomous fangs were about a centimeter long, protruding from his top gum. "Keeeeeeeeeee!" He hissed in a killing cry.

The snake's tail and body wriggled crazily as it died. The snake's fangs found a hold on one of the dead mice in the food pit, instantly rendering it unsafe to eat.
Sandpiper shrank back into the shadows, quivering with fright. Her eyes were wide and her lip trembled.

Kouprey tossed the snake into the food pit, removing the mouse and the snake's head and burying them. He then went up to Sandpiper to comfort her.
