Aldric sat in his arm chair by the living room window, neck craned and eyes searching.
One of his famed books sat on his knee, but he was clearly anxious about something, or someone. He stood suddenly and began to pace, setting the book in it's place on the shelf, and passing into the kitchen; handsome features drawn in a look of dark concern. He leaned back on the counter and drummed out a rhythm with finger tips, I am waiting...., why do you choose to remain hidden?

Sydney whinned through her teeth but didn't release her grip on Stella's leg. Using her neck muscles, she jerked Stellas leg sideways and backwards, causing large amount of pain in her hips.
