Morewyn watched Pain with a thoughtful expression, wondering why she was alone. Her head just poked above the surface, and from the way she was positioned it was impossible to see that she was anything but a horse out for a swim. True, she was much different from a normal Chincoteague pony, what with her concave face and white body, but weren't there other horses that weren't native?
