Several gashes were embedded into his sides and his throat was split open so deep his head only hung on by a single thread. The two soon vanished off into the shadows, never to be seen again.

The mare shut her eyes tight and pushed more forcefully, the foal's midsection soon revealed. It appeared slightly larger than most chincoteague pony foals due to the fact it was related to Husky.
