Adayna slunk around the water hole and groomed herself. The setting sun illuminated her tawny fur, and she glowed beautifully.

Milo spotted her and flattened himself against the ground, crawling into the grass.

Adayna spotted him and rolled her eyes. "Wimp." She mumbled just loud enough for his ears.

Afaafa watched them from a ragged and low down tree, hiding within the leaves. She rolled her eyes at Adayna's statement and tried her best to doze off.

"Am not! I can't fight with paws when you have poison" he snorted, standing to his full height and walking over.

Chipo noiselessly watched the lions, crouched with her belly flat to the ground, concealed in the grasses. She departed when she saw Zuri coming close and crept away. Zuri narrowed her eyes suspiciously when she heard a twig snap, but, seeing nothing, she lumbered off to the waterhole.
