Used to have an App mare that was a master at walking in hobbles. She'd put her nose down right in front of her feet and shuffleshuffleshuffleshuffle.

Nope, he stepped carefully and never had a problem with a cattle guard keeping him in. He was also known to climb up on stacks of branches meant for firewood.

What a weirdo.

Best horse I ever had. He would walk right up to a dead elk or deer and stand there patiently as it was loaded on him. He could walk fast enough that normal horses had to trot to keep up with him.

I’ve tried making it. I’ve failed to have decent slop at the end each time.
