Quote: Yeah i am some kids came over and they started threwing things at me hens and i just let the roosters attack them
That was the RIGHT thing to do. They deserved what came.

Look at it this way, my way:
Cause: Those kids threw rocks at the hens.
Effect: The rooster came over to defend their ladies.
It's sorta like someone coming in and intervening. Listen to this scenario:
The school bully slaps you. The principal comes and takes the bully to the office.
School bully= The kids
You= The hen
Principal= The rooster
My personal opinion:
I would let my roosters attack them. Well, if my roosters were like OnceInALifeTime's. They aren't, they never attack anybody. If that happened they'd have their head chopped off and would appear on the dinner plate.....But back to the point:
I'd let the roosters attack them. They're protecting their ladies. What do you do? Let the kids get away with it? If you do......you my friend are a little deranged.....
Yeah my roosters dont really put up with things artacking there hens ive lost roosters because they attack Coyotes
My solution:
Kids through stuff at chickens. I approach and say, "Please don't do that, it hurts the hens and the rooster will attack and hurt you. You should find something else to do."
Kids keep doing it.
Rooster comes over.
Rooster starts to attack.
Kids run away screaming.
