Nice! I hope my chickens don't go broody soon. I had a chance to get an Orloff but I got A GLW instead because I don't think an Orloff is a good choice for a beginner like me. XD

To me they are perfect. Beautiful,friendly. Okay maybe they are not the greatest layers and the eggs are small,but they are my favorite breed and I would like to know why you think they would not make a good beginner bird.

I don't know. I thought some of the rare birds were flighty.

No,Lakenvelders are rare and very friendly. Also Colombian Wyandottes are sort of rare but mine is friendly.

I have a GLW who is very friendly. I don't think that breed is very rare tho.
