Ralis breathed deeply as the cages sunk down. His rapid breaths caught up to his thundering heart. "Hello?" He gasped, rocking back in forth among the bars

A delicate clanking sound echoed through the center of the room. The rythem continued to loom in its melodious pitch, that bounced off the walls and cages.

Charlie's eyes snapped open and she turned around in her cage to look out of the bars. What was that noise? She thought, but she couldn't find the source.

The cages became stationary from their depletion. They all gently swayed. until the ground battered from the cages collapsing on it. The rattling echoed, but for a strange few moments.
