☻Kiki's big mistake

How many people can say they have seen a live unborn duck still inside the egg...I don't mean see it through a shell but see it Kiki mistake style?

I don't understand how they're even alive. Don't they boil the egg with the chick inside to make balut? Or were these sold uncoiled for the customer to boil them? I think this is a stupid question but I've already typed it up so I'm going to roll with it.

The stores in my area sell fresh uncooked balut eggs for the customers to prepare themselves.

I will have to ask around to see where one would be able to order cooked balut.
Or maybe not.

I believe they’re sold boiled by street vendors and whatnot to eat immediately.

In a little grocery store I think they usually sell them raw, like you would a carton of eggs.

Kiki I'm in no way shape or form ever purchasing a prepared balut egg so no need to research on my behalf. Not only does it seem gross to me but it's also cruel. However if I ever come across raw balut for sale I'm likely to buy every egg I see and bring them home in an attempt to rescue. THANK TO YOU!

I highly recommend looking in Vietnamese grocery stores.

Jokes on you, I DID read that.

AND did additional research to learn that street vendors often sell them cooked at night in the Philippines.

I guess I didn’t sound confident in that last post.
