Same here. I have no desire to try hatching anything in the temps we have been having. I have 5 pullets that were hatching in the spring/summer so I hope to get first eggs from them this spring.i hatched mine in apr ( i think) and have yet to see an eggthough with the arctic temps i am ok with them waiting
I wish it weren't slowing me down! I am genuinely curious how people who live with these temperatures all winter survive. I am looking forward to the above freezing temps this coming weekend more than I looked forward to Christmas!
Yep, mine are bathing in their water bowls too! Icicles hanging off everywhere, still ain't slowing them down!

I had given each of my goats one of those plastic coffee cans with water once... had to change those cuz I saw a drake try to climb in and his breast went in and not the rest of him! He was folded up with his @$$ and head sticking up stuck!
Glad you mentioned that. I carry water out in coffee cans sometimes. I'll remember not to leave any out with water in it!
