@theoldchick What type of camera and lens do you use I have a huge one that costed way up there and it does perfect on far away, but not insects or close up objects, but it works fine over all!

Nikon D5100 with a 55 x 200 zoom lens. This lens will not focus on any object closer that 4.5 feet away. Which is perfect for photographing spiders! With cropping options provided by Picasa 3, you'd think I was a foot away from my 8 legged subject.

My other camera I'm currently using is a Panasonic Lumix mirror-less camera. A tiny little thing with a 42 mm lens which works well for general photography.

Yeah I have a 75 - 300mm lens and the only way you can get insects or flowers is to stand back and then zoom in on them.
How big is your lens?

Um I am not for shure my dad bought it for me when he saw my love for pictures I would have to ask him.
