It cannot eat tuna or any other type of food until it is getting chick grit which it doesn’t need as long as it’s eating flock raiser.

But she could break it up into tiny bits for it. And a can of tuna fish is much cheaper than something else that costs about 10 bucks.

Lucky passed away some time this evening I came out and she was gone

Tummy all healed?

The tummy healed yes but I came back out this evening and she had passed away apparently

muscovy are a good choice. they are quieter, so people can't complain about noise. they are also sturdy. people say they make good mothers also; but i haven't had a chance to evaluate that yet.

My mom thinks she wasn’t right on the inside because I told her she did peep and my mom noticed she peeped a lot more then normal even with people around.

I was concerned when she took so long to absorb her yolk sac. You did your very best and she lived a lot longer than most ducklings would have with all of the TLC you gave her. Mine had absorbed her yolk sac in just hours and not days. I am so sorry that you lost your Lucky, I am fortunate to still have mine. I hope you enjoy all of the rest of your ducks. They can bring you so much joy.
