⚠️URGENT! I think my chick is dying!

I bought 3 baby chicks three days ago and when we first got them all three chicks were fine running around and eating but two days ago one of them would just sleep all day and not eat any food.

It will drink water on it's own but no food. I have been feeding it food and water by hand but it is still not active. It won't move, it loses its balance alot and all it does is sleep.

I have bought chicks from that place before and that is also the same place I have been getting food for my chickens since my birth (17 years). This is the first time that we have had this issue where we get a chick and it won't eat and just sleeps all day.

It may be that the chick is very young or recently hatched but even the ones that have hatched at home are usually active and eating.

I really hope that this chick will survive if I can get it to live for at least 1-3 weeks then it should be able to become a teen then adult.
DISCLAIMER I've been getting alot of comments about the corn chunks that are laying next to the chick. Those chunks are NOT their food they eat starter feed since they are very little. Those larger pieces of corn is from my older chickens. I was sorting out their food before I took the picture.

Thank you to everyone for your help I will get them some electrolytes in their water, I will also change the cardboard to something better for their feet. I will also let you know about the chick's health if it has gotten better.

Does the chick have access to chick starter and 24 hour access to heat for warmth?

the same thing happen to me 4 weeks ago my 2 week old chick stopped running around and wasn't eating/drinking and when i went to go make some mash for her, she was dead

Does the chick have access to chick grit? With all that corn I would be worried about an impacted crop if there isn't any access to grit.

I always add electrolytes to the chick water for the first couple days of arriving home. It helps with the stress of transportation. I only feed my chicks chick starter and have access to water, no other treats.

that might've been why my chick died because my chick showed the same signs as these ones

at this age they need to be with a heap lamp and only have access to chick starter and water nothing else until they are at least 6 weeks old and when you give them something other than chicken food they need to have grit

What are you feed it?
That stuff laying on the ground around the chick is a problem.

Also..I notice your chick is on cardboard.
Cardboard is too slippery for chicks. You are going to end up with leg problems if you are very careful.
Can you cover that floor with paper towels and can you please get the correct feed for the others before they end up dying like this one appears to be.

Yes! We have a heat lamp for them from my past chicks, they also have starter feed since they are very little. I live in Los Angeles California and it is very hot so we have the lamp off so that they don't over heat, we only turn it on when the sun goes down or when the weather gets cooler. At night we bring them inside though.
