My daughter Holly's birthday is coming up, on the 15th

My DH was trying to figure out how old she was going to be in his head... "19?" I said her birthday is on the 15th, he said, "No, how old will she be?" I said, she is turning 27. He said, "Oh, so she is turning 28." Not Alzheimer's, but selective hearing. BTW we have 2 children.

MMMM MUD COLOR
I’m working on a watercolor painting. Just the background currently.
I tried combining the colors to make brown which is not working. I added a red wash on the left side. I think I will have to settle for a muted green since it seems to be dominating.
I’ve discovered if you mix all the colors in the right proportions you actually get grey, not brown like people say. Makes sense though because brown is actually just dark, desaturated orange. So orange with a little grey mixed in.

Honestly, a vaguely green color will be a good background for porcelain. It looks very natural.
