I think she looks adorable, but I've always like that cut. I thought you groomed dogs, no? I worked for a friend of mine who had a grooming shop for several months, and we did a lot of cats in the spring. Aside from the difference in restraint method, it wasn't that much different from doing dogs that I couldn't learn it fairly quickly. I know some people don't like to groom their own animals, especially cats, fearing they will hold a grudge. Which they are very good at.

I’ve done it a lot before! So it wasn’t cause of that I just wanted the protein haha and I was gonna put it on crackers and eat it that way but then I didn’t feel like it so I just ate it straight instead

I do my own grooming and I have shaved my cat before. Him and the Pom looked like lions. It’s not that bad.

Thanks! She does look pretty cute. just wish the legs were a little cleaner and/or cut a little lower but it was just about comfort today not beauty haha maybe I could clean them up myself.

I don’t groom though haha I dog walk/pet sit and want to become a trainer so maybe that’s what you were thinking? I have also mentioned wanting to buy the clippers and do it myself but decided against that haha there are lots of people on here though that are or were groomers or otherwise worked with animals.

For Luna, I don’t think she would necessarily hold a grudge, and she’s a very sweet cat so would probably let me, but I was just worried I would hurt her because of the mats. And I’m glad because she said they were tight on the skin on her stomach so I don’t think I would have been able to get those myself.

no, I took her to the groomer at the vet’s today.
