Eclipse's crowing is getting better! He actually sounds like a rooster, now, and not like a strangled foghorn.
Kirby and Simnel are also starting to crow. Both sound like choking squeaky toys.
They try their darned hardest, the sweethearts.
:lau so adorable!!! Jack finally has a real crow too! And he was using it at like 5:30 this morning :th felt like he went on forever but I don’t really think it was that long but idk cause I fell back asleep lol but he sounded like a howling and/or crying dog or child for forever lol

Luna was sleeping in my bed when I got home tonight and purring when I woke her up so I guess she’s happy again. :love

Idk where she went now lol

I finally acquiesced and started getting our cat groomed/shaved after we had kids. We just didn’t have the time and energy for cleaning and fur control that we had before children. My son is also allergic to cats which didn’t help. He was an older cat and needed a few accommodations that made rehoming unlikely. It was the best compromise we came up with and I started to find it cute after awhile. :p

When I first started taking my dog to the groomers, they did this cut on him. Left the lion's puff at the tip of the tail and a fluffier head. I did it one time and ever since then, I was like, "No, just shave him all the way down". No more tufts of fluff. He goes the 24th to get groomed. He is going to feel so much better. The shedding is ridiculous right now. I think the groomer should have shaved down the legs a bit better personally, but I think she looks so cute! I am sure she feels a TON better!

Kinda sad part of the day for me. I just went out to tuck the birds in, and noticed the empty spaces on the perches, where BeeBees, Red, and Sunshine would usually perch. lost those three last month from multiple sicknesses. They were lovely pets, and I miss them dearly.
Rest in peace my beautiful girls. I hope you are getting better care, than what I tried to provide
for you :hugs:(

That’s totally understandable!!! Luna does shed A LOT lol I think she sheds more than the dog did 😂🤣😂

And I’m technically allergic too but she doesn’t really bother me unless she’s right up in my face, which shaving doesn’t really help anyway cause her face is still fluffy.

My brother is much more allergic than me and gets all stuffy and sneezy, sick, etc. every time he comes home 😂🤣

So he likes her shaved or we just put her downstairs when he’s home.

I kind of outgrew the cat allergy with the last cat, who was short haired, but when I got a long haired cat, she does bother me more and I still haven’t outgrown it 10 years later, but I’m not really “allergic allergic” now. It’ll just like get in my nose and mouth and stuff and bug me 😂🤣

She HATES brushing so I kinda gave up, not wanting to force her 😂🙈

But I’m gonna start I think.

Yeah that’s probably a good idea!! Next time (if there is one but then again hopefully there won’t be :fl ) I’m gonna see if they will fully shave her. Or at least down her legs and tail. I’m not sure if they could do her head because of the whiskers on cats but idk. But she sheds tons too! And yeah, the legs are definitely a bit sloppy! Especially the back ones! Those are bit of a disaster! :th

She definitely didn’t do as good a job as the first groomer a couple years ago BUT I think that groomer also had help. This one was alone today so I kinda felt bad 😂🙈 Luna’s gentle and all but still. I’m sure she probably rushed it a bit. She’s young and alone, although she was really nice. The last one was older so maybe more experienced and she went further down the legs basically to the paws.

But no way I could have done anywhere near as good a job myself so I’m happy and I’m just glad she’s comfortable now! Sure it feels a lot better haha plus I think they clipped her nails too.

I think she’s cute too! Even if she is a bit wonky looking 😂🤣 I’m used to her beautiful, full coat.
