I might have to try it this way!! It sounds good. I think I used to add milk sometimes but idk. I don’t now. Ours is gas so no numbers.I learned a few years ago about how to cook eggs for ideal results.
It was fascinating as all get out.
1) Start w/a couple pads of butter. A little extra butter is better then not enough or using oil.
2) on a stove 0-10 dial set to ~4
3) I like to mix in some milk* & equal part water (almond, soy, coconut milks are my go-to)
4) with a very good flat front spatula I scrape across the base of the pan then rotate pan 90° and do it again, then rotate another 90° & repeat & then repeat gently. You will see the eggs start to thicken at about 2 minutes....
5) keep gently doing this to keep from sticking to the bottom.... Usually it's about 5 minutes for the eggs to be "almost ready for extras"
6) add in salsa, avacado, cheese, what have you
7) as cheese starts to melt eggs are finishing..... Usually about 2 minutes at a max. (This step I sometimes turn off the heat when I add the. Cheese) the residual heat is more than enough to finish the job.
I have posted a picture of my eggs with the toaster oven tray that has the seasons fries on it..... Those eggs are this exact style and nearly identical timeline.
