How long should you steep tea

Depends on your taste. I steep my green tea for several minutes. Black tea can be as little as 20-30 seconds or more if you like it strong.

It depends. It usually says on the box or instructions how long. Some are only like a minute or two some are like 4 some even like 7 lol the box usually says. But for me I always go crazy and leave it in for like 10+ sometimes or the microwave makes it stronger.
