Maybe I'll whip up a gelato of sorts tomorrow... I made one a while ago. heated coffee, cream, milk, sugar, and vanilla together in a pot, then I poured it into a pan and placed it in the freezer for several hours, stirring it occasionally. I added some chocolate chips towards the end, when it was kind of slushy.
If memory serves correctly, it was pretty good... I remember that my mother really liked it. I should see if I can hunt down my recipe... it's probably floating somewhere.

Yep. And balance.
I had two scrambled duck eggs and a glass of grapefruit juice for lunch,
And a big veggie salad for supper And that's all I ate all day.
Therefore I justify my tiny bowl of ice cream
