The texture is a bit weird! Especially the all natural peanut butter or chunky kinds.

"Dry?" I think that the word that you're looking for is more along the lines of "gloppy." Maybe just a good old "thick" would work, too. Not quite "sticky."
But I don't think that "dry" is quite what you're looking for.
Well... maybe it is.

I will disagree. But first, what is the basis of this weirdness? Texture? Taste? Smell? Looks?

Weird is a perspective. A comparison to what we perceive as normal. Many things are only kinky the first time. Then even kinky becomes accepted and even normal. So what is weird about peanut butter?

Did you eat all the pecans out of it?

I guess so.
They were mostly all in the center of the container.
I scooped my portions from the center cause the hubby doesn't like nuts in his ice cream.
All that was left was a small amount from the side of the container.

That makes sense!! I sometimes purposely pick out the good parts when I’m scooping it like the brownie pieces or peanut butter cups or whatever good is in it

This is the thing, everyone has different tastes. There is nothing wrong about having different tastes. Personally, I will not eat crunchy peanut butter.

They are? Mine got most of their daily intake from browse.

Mine later under the coop all day. I even moved the feed to the end of the yard in hopes of them foraging their way to it. I will give the guys credit on the get-up and go they have when food is involved. They ran to that stuff like they never tasted food before. Then lolly-gag their way back. I dunno , we may try them again in the fall, as it was pretty warm here for a couple of weeks when we had them. That probably influenced the feed intake. They are getting their own coop first though. They are stinky. We honestly weren’t going to get any, but the owner of the building wanted them. We don’t pay to stay here so gotta do what the boss wants.
