Just got an update from the power company.....estimate now is 2:30 am!!!! Glad the incubators aren’t running but not going to get much sleep tonight as dh cannot sleep without a/c and fan etc! It’s up to 76 inside already.....my button chicks are not happy but with 76* I think they’ll survive huddled up

I had the emoji problem and maybe it's the same with you. I accidentally tapped on the gear (end of the bottom row in the top bar of your posting window). That turns the options off & on, incl. the emojis. If it's not that, I have mo further techie wisdom to offer.

@CindyinSD told me how to fix mine last night! Try clicking on the settings wheel to see if yours are just turned off!

Still no power Not estimated to be back on now until 9 am.....longest power outage here since hurricane Ike in 2008!!

Dh hooked up the little generator to run a fan in our bedroom around 12:30 we used it to start the coffee this morning just as it ran out of gas

I don’t play anything atm but I’ve been wanting to learn guitar for a while.

I’ve tried a few times before and with the keyboard too but never really seriously or anything.

But I really want to learn this song now.

I actually think keyboard/piano/that way would probably be easier for me, I picked that up pretty fast last time I tried, but I really want to, and would rather, learn guitar. So

I actually used to write songs occasionally too but that was a while ago. Although I still occasionally come up with ideas. Never usually get more than a couple lines though anymore

If you want to learn guitar by reading tabs DS finds a lot of his songs on songster
DH uses a different one for chords
Now that DS got his new amp, I’m hoping to sneak some video of him playing!!

I’ve been wanting a whole house generator for years because this used to be a regular occurrence but up until last night, they had been really good at getting us back on quickly! Really crazy that we are the end of the line that they won’t trim the trees back so across the street has power when we don’t !!! never got a notification that power went out at the office
