Oh I forgot to tell y’all.....we had to call the cops out to the office again yesterday as we were leaving the chiropractor next door sees a lot of welfare evidently and I constantly have problems with his patients parking in my lot as they way overbook....well yesterday there was a vehicle full and a guy and girl methed out of their gords acting a fool in the church yard behind my lot.....as DH was on the phone with police, they were actually engaging in inappropriate activity in the front of the church!! Unfortunately, the guy that was at chiropractic office rounded them up and they left (no tags on the car) just before the cops arrived

Oh meth heads, what a bunch. We had some casing the place a few months ago. Just driving by and being weird for 5 hours. I was trying to sleep but Bad said they were still being weird out there. Like parking and driving away, then they looped the town (100 person town, it wasn’t like kids out driving around), then they would park on the east side of the building, then they went to the park on the west side of the building, weird like that. But anyways, I was getting pissed b/c I wanted to sleep so I grabbed my bat and went out to the front and waited in the shadows. The car was parked in front of our neighbors, some rando came walking out of the field behind the city hall, Bad says WTF, the girls in the car yell, “Go go go” and drive off, trunk open. Bad catches up to the rando, he looked 17, and he says he’s just walking home in a voice that sounds like he was about to cry. Then this chick comes from nowhere and is trying to cry I assaulted her and her kid with a bat. Really B? She ended up stealing bat, we yelled at each other, she says she has rights to the building, B no you don’t. Bad did a name drop, we got informed of this B to look out for, her tune changed real quick. We knew her name, she didn’t know us.
She must not have been informed the building changed ownership, she said she was going to call the owner. Bahahaha! They were snooping around to steal crap. The camper had pry marks on the door. The coppers said it sounded like the chick we thought it was. She’s not even supposed to be in this town. JFC I only wanted to sleep.

More storms on the way wondering if they will get power back on b4 it goes out again! We’re guessing that there is some kinda crap rules that they don’t get in hurry to fix it if not enough people affected and the current outage is only 120 houses

It started storming here as soon as I was getting the birds out. I got the ducks and geese out but I noped out after that. I COULD FEEL THE ELECTRICITY!!!! It’s probably safe to let the chickens out meow. I’m drinking my cup of coffee first.

Yeah it’s getting beyond ridiculous.....too many “rehab” centers and “hourly” type motels and my office is only 1 block from police station!!!! We are always well-armed but with things the way they are right now, we’ve been contacting police instead of dealing with it ourselves

The coppers are a 20 min drive away here. The city pays them a monthly fee and they drive through 2x a day, that’s about it. It’s really quiet here normally, that night was a fluke. The neighbors are a bit nosy, not too nosy, just nosy enough to keep tabs on what’s going down. Lol Bad and I got asked if we were yelling at each other in the park one day, nope that was some other young couple. Tabs like that. Back at home the neighbors were a bad nosy, bored old bitty nosy. I’ll take these neighbors over those neighbors any day!

Good Morning @muddy75 - I was going to suggest you sleep at the office if there was AC. You've changed my mind on that one. small generators make a lot of noise. Get a Honda for lower noise and a window AC. $1,000 and you have one room cool.

Last big hurricane, we came home because power was restored after 2 weeks. Nope. Started cleaning the yard and I delayed Crazy Lady 2 nights and then was threatened with bodily injury. Bought an overprice generator and window unit after waiting at the store for an hour for the delivery truck with an angry, hot, tired mob.

Unboxed the generator and the power came back on. She wouldn't let me return the thing. I may still be bitter. We almost got our money back using it for camping. Loud Briggs & Stratton engine on that thing. We aren't popular with the tent campers because Crazy Lady and her delicate need for AC. But that is my issue.

No pips in the incubator yet.
The Broody Pancake with her 2 chicks won't let them take a picture. The older one hops on her back and rides around. Too cute. Younger one just chills.
