here is a screenshot of the original post and yes it is unedited 🤣🤣🤣

now that we’re home, i got the groceries figured out.......they gave all of our “cold” order to someone else evidently (5 totes) because it was no longer at the store. so they printed the list and have to pull all of the items again for pickup tomorrow. I’m fairly certain whomever received our order will not call in and report it because they made out like bandits!!!

I am pretty sure it got edited and did originally say broomstick. Wish I had taken a screenshot. I was thinking he gave her the broomstick (broomstick method) to go process poultry.
I read broomstick too so I thought she was at home cleaning while he was out hunting.
Boy was I lost.

If one edits them real quick you won't even know they did edit it.
The edit thingie only shows up after a certain time.
@CarpCharacin Do you know how long we have to edit a post before the little edit words show up on the post?

But practicing with the adrenaline rush does. Simple things like turn around twice. Set down, acquire target and clean shot within 6 seconds helps.

I haven’t had buck fever since my dad did this with me.

“Aim small, miss small” is another analogy I live by. (Mel Gibson-The Patriot)
i’m working on all those things.....and I have gotten over a certain amount of “buck fever” over the years....
I am the first to admit that I need more practice as one can never practice enough. even though the muzzleloader is very similar to my rifle, today was actually the first time ever that I have shot it in the field. and i most likely “second-guessed” my shot placement based on my previous shots with my rifle. but i did see proof that my shot literally scared the 💩 out of her!! but since it was a “clean miss” I didn’t really even spook them and they will most likely travel a similar path tomorrow and next weekend etc. I can sleep well tonight and learn from this experience vs beating myself up like I did with the buck.
