I said "hue," not "taste."
And I am not high. I only take drugs to help with sicknesses, and then they're only fever reducers, pain relievers, and mucous relievers -- never anything illegal or requiring a prescription. I do not intend to take any opioids or any crap like that unless my doctor tells me to. I hate the thought of having my personality changed beyond my control, and hate the thought of depending on something like that.
The only drug that I depend on is insulin.
No no...do not even take that crap even if your doctor tells you to. Ever Saff.

It'll depend on the circumstances. If my doctor tells me to, then they'll give me a predetermined amount, I should assume. Without a doctor's permission, I do not believe that it is possible to get opioids -- and I will not break the law for something as stupid as a pain reliever that makes me feel all "happy happy, everything is sparkly and wonderful!" because that's just stupid and would show that I can't deal with the harshness that is reality.

If you break your femur in half...ok. If you break your arm...no. RUN!

Okay, yeah, something like that isn't anything that I'd want to take an opioid for.
Something like surgery or something, though... nnnn... depends on how debilitating the pain is. Like, if I can't work, then I'd like something for the pain -- but preferably something that would be hard to become addicted to.
I probably won't have to deal with it, honestly. Hopefully.
(Monthly cramps are bad enough, I hope that I don't have to deal with surgery.)
(Childbirth is fine, though -- my kid, once I know that it exists, I'm keeping it!)

Is it snowing there yet?
It's been snowing since a bit before noon. We've got a few inches outside -- I think that we would have more, but since the ground hasn't frozen and is still warm, some of it melted as it fell.
It's beautiful. I hope that there's still some in the morning -- I'll take pictures if there is.
