is today the last day of muzzy season?? ours runs through the 20th and then 26th starts anterless rifle

This is last day of muzzleloader. Archery ends the last day of the year.

We have a real piece meal of zones. I am in an intensive harvest zone.. really... We can take 5 deer here but only one can be a buck.

The zone my cabin is in is bucks only. There is a lottery for anterless deer up there, but only 25 permits over a huge zone. Maybe 200-300 square miles.

We have two firearms weekend hunts last weekend of Dec and first weekend of January, but it is limited zones. They are CWD positive zones. There is no limit on the number of deer you can take in them.

I read somewhere there will be two more weekends in late January or early February, same CWD zones.

no other seasons for me, I need to transition to ice fishing, and I need to get some work done on my equipment before maple syrup season starts.

Today's word is dummy.



Originally this word referred to a dog. Pretty much any dog. All dogs are dumb but the dumber ones are my favorite.


When I was a a kid my family had a dog named Budha, our second bullmastiff. (I will insert a picture of this dummy here this evening)
He was stupid compared to our first bullmastiff Conan so we quickly started calling him stupid which turned into stoops which turned into dummy.


Dumb = cute

I watch a lot of cooking shows lol. Can’t cook like they do. Am way pickier of an eater than they are. But I love watching them. This was dessert tonight.

Is graham crackers, topped with pudding/cool whip mixture, then graham crackers, them more pudding/cool whip mix, then 1 last layer of graham cracker topped with a frosting. I saw one recipe where they made their own as more of a glaze type thing instead. I went the easy route. I didn’t even use it all. I just wanted a thin layer. It’s amazingly light with all of the pudding and is quite yummy. No baking involved. Just needed to chill for a few hours or overnight if you have the discipline to wait that long.
