Ahem... Back to the thread for just a moment. Chicago Manual of Style. I would have voted yes I know. And I would have been wrong! I thought it was a travel brochure for those visiting the windy city. You know...pants should be worn exactly ten inches below the natural waist line. Hair style can be variable but NEVER with a single part line just offset from head center, and whether or not to wear gang colors in a four star restaurant.
Makes more sense than a manual about how to design a proper letter.
I graduated from high school so long ago that our prioriy for writing style was to always use a sharp chisel and make sure exclamation marks didn't break the slate.

I used to have a copy when I was in graduate school. I like to hoard books. I kept my copy for the longest time, but for various reasons I have had to whittle down my collection, and I don't think it made the latest cut.
