➡I accidentally bought Balut eggs: 2 live ducks! Now a Chat Thread!

Just wondering bc you all are very knowledgeable regarding chick hatching. How long has everyone kept chickens? I'm really loving all the info I'm learning following these active threads and it just had me wondering. I just got my first chickens last year and really didn't have any experience with them. I didnt grow up around chickens but I'd been wanting a backyard flock for years. I familiarized my myself with breeds and housing and am trying to learn the rest as I go. I started with 9 pullets and am constantly adding and subtracting from my flock until I get exactly what I want.

I have grown up around chickens and my parents have had them since before I was born I pretty sure. I know it looks like I don't know anything about hatching right now though. :lau

My parents, mom mostly, grew up with chickens. I had no true experience (they were at the barn we boarded at but I never did anything) with chickens until last year when we got them. We got 6 pullets and one mystery chick (our rooster of course :gig) from TSC, then nine weeks ago we added 9 more from Ideal, one “Pullet” is a very obvious cockerel, and one of the EE’s is our questionable

I have only been around chickens for 6 years. This is my first official flock. I had a big flock of wild chickens that lived on my land for awhile and would constantly hatch eggs. And then i use to have nacked necks but got rid of them to move to e states then came back and i got Buff orpingtons.

Why can't mangos be sliced :barnie:barnieeasily like say an apple.:barnie
Lol send me the mango i can cut them pretty good. I have many mango trees here and just ate some today

It’s been really hot here but the eggs never feel that warm. I still don’t leave any eggs in the coop though. I’d love to donate all these broodies. We bought chickens for their eggs, not to hatch babies. :gig
id love to have some more broodies! Lol just send them to puerto rico!
