➡I accidentally bought Balut eggs: 2 live ducks! Now a Chat Thread!

My Pekin duck hen lays an egg every day. The Cayuga cross do also. The Pekin ducklings are a golden yellow. The Saxony duckling is a little more brownish, but the Saxony /Pekin babies have been a honey gold.
My giant Pekin drake make huge babies that are "crowded" in the normal duck egg....thus need a little extra attention when hatching.

. My Seabright rooster is named Ansel (Adams).

So....you are looking for information .... or eggs to hatch?

I've been able to see your videos. Loving the action.
I'm still catching up - on page 1106 now
Thanks for making remember to call them. I want to call to ask if they happen to be a supplier of balut to the Houston area. I'm determined to track down where my balutties cane from so we can know for sure what breed they are.
I'm going to ask The Man nicely to just give me the info on his supplier.

Oops I forgot the poop picture.

So guys, what is the feed do you purchase for your girls? I have tried many different feeds, including some organic. Right now I have purina flock raiser crumbles bc I have three 12-14 wk olds in with my big girls plus the mom and baby.
Kiki has more!
;)

Nice ma'am! I will let you know when I'm done with this if you don't mind sharing. I started reading and it has me wondering what you feed your flock if you don't mind he asking?

If your current feed works for you I see no reason to change it.
I do think it is better and easier to feed a layer type feed if you have only layers or close to being layers.
14 weeks is plenty old enough to feed a layer feed too.
A new baby...not so much.
Read page 25 of that book real quick.
