We have to wake up at 7:30 anyway. P.O. opens at 8:30.

Their coop isn’t even done, I have to screw some wires in and lay bedding down still. I’m waiting for the sun to come up.

They can live in a box for a few days while you finish the coop.
I'm going back to sleep. I'll be up by 8:25 to wake you so you can call them.

I just saw that and came to tell you that they were going to get into it.

They will get into the smallest of places. I had a juvenile duck squeeze into a milk container through a very tiny hole and get completely stuck. I had to cut her out.

That's hilarious. I've kind of got one too... well it's more like a big fear and maybe possibility. Would definitely be mortifying for sure!!!
My husband and I fish a lot and I don't mean "fancy bass boat and expensive equipment" fishing I mean Tom Sawyer/ huckleberry Finn type stuff. Manually load and unload the aluminum boat and troll or paddle, so as you can imagine these typically pretty remote areas are usually regulated by the gov & managed by wildlife & fisheries. So Im always terrified that they've caught me on trail cam or something bc we just usually pull up to the bank, I hop out, pop a squat and back in the boat I jump. I'm not discrete bc we're out in bfe. I try to be more cautious now and look around since the possibility has occurred to me but I used to never even think about it. Anyway, could you imagine? (Btw I'm not even sure if wlf uses trail cams but I just fear they do and somewhere there's a pic of my naked butt popping a squat somewhere!)

It's okay we do the same in swamps all over south Louisiana. I am sure they have more than one butt on wildlife cam.

I'm surprised the post office isn't calling....mine calls me the second that box hits the counter....and usually it's the Post Master who calls. "Ms. Hiester, your chicks are here, PLEASE come get these things, they are REALLY noisy".

@KikisGirls do they ever refrigerate balut eggs? You have me wanting to try to hatch some, not sure what to look for. Ranch Market supposedly carries them in my area. I’m assuming it will only work if they are fresh and not cold.
