You did a FANTASTIC job!We bred them ourselves! That little one is half Light Brahma, half Splash Australorp and the darkest of our chicks!
I thought I understood chicken genetics but this one has thrown me for a loop!
LOL. Yea, no.@Tesumph I secretly hope one of your chicks is a boy.
Then you will be able to for sure build a bator.![]()
We’re working on getting NPIP certified so in the future we could technically send some chicks or eggs your way.You did a FANTASTIC job!
Are you keeping them?
I wish I didn't live so far away!!!

We really shouldn’t keep them but we haven’t been pushing to sell them.Even my father who wasn’t happy we had put eggs under her was excited whenever one hatched.

Yes ma’am!
You have GOT to let me know when this happens!![]()
We had talked about keeping them last night, and seeing how they mature. I’ll be sure to let you guys know! We do have a family friend who is checking to see if he can have chickens, and I would trust this guy 100%. He buys eggs from us even when he doesn’t need them just to help support our new business.@littleprairieheartsfarm i hope you guys at least hold on to that brahma cross chick. I really am curious how it turns out. And, yes, those babies are incredibly pretty! X2 on the "good job" comment!
