We bred them ourselves! :) That little one is half Light Brahma, half Splash Australorp and the darkest of our chicks! :gig I thought I understood chicken genetics but this one has thrown me for a loop!

LOL. Yea, no.
I can’t even be bothered with a rooster in this flock. If I do have one and he’s a real sweet dude, I’ll raise him for a bit and give him to my MIL.
If he’s a total ass, I’ll eat him.

We’re working on getting NPIP certified so in the future we could technically send some chicks or eggs your way. ;)
We really shouldn’t keep them but we haven’t been pushing to sell them. :oops: Even my father who wasn’t happy we had put eggs under her was excited whenever one hatched. :gig

We had talked about keeping them last night, and seeing how they mature. I’ll be sure to let you guys know! We do have a family friend who is checking to see if he can have chickens, and I would trust this guy 100%. He buys eggs from us even when he doesn’t need them just to help support our new business. :) He would for sure send pictures whenever asked.
