Once you go ride-on mower you can’t go back.

I know but I live in a neighborhood and to me the size of my yard just doesn't justify it. Sometimes I seriously wish I had one though! I am beet red right now.

Yep. That's the sound. We would just laugh when it would scream & repeat how weird it was, but the owner said one renter called them in the middle of the night to report someone was being attacked outside their window.

At least you can pinpoint who's making all that noise. Crickets, on the other hand, drive me mad, especially if they are inside!

I got a machine a few years ago that makes cricket sounds to help the kids sleep. DD2 just told me how distracting it is & hard for her to fall asleep with it on. It would've been helpful to know this like 3-4 years ago.

Snakes do not scare me near as bad as rodents though.

That’s awesome! I’ve seen people use ferrets for rabbiting just to flush them out, but haven’t seen one actually hunt yet.
Mink on the other hand are badass. I would love to get into hunting with mink if I had the time and opportunity.

I truly don’t understand how this could freak you out.

Haha they’re just kids books, the original is by Rudyard Kipling (jungle book author). I read every animal book I could get my hands on when I was younger.

I think the last time I pushed a lawn mover was when I was about 7 months pregnant with the Mini.
He has been begging for a push mower for years.
A while back we had one here that was being fixed and he used it to now the whole year.
I thought he was going to die for a minute but he did it.
