➡I accidentally bought Balut eggs: 2 live ducks! Now a Chat Thread!

They play dirty in the world of any animal showing, to be honest. It’s a problem with showing dogs, cattle, even rats.
It is very easy to loose sight of the animal and just see ribbons and dollar signs.

You are not exaggerating.
Some people are just ignorant, the kind that drags their month old puppy all over petsmart and dog parks and is shattered when it gets parvo and dies.
Personally I believe, at least to some extent, every breeder knows it’s selfish to bring sick animals to a show and a good amount will do it anyway.
It's also people that attend the shows that can transmit something. I always wear clothing that goes nowhere near the coop and launder it before I wear it again.

I'm more than 110 feet south of the North pole, does that count?

I chalk painted this old record console & hollowed it out to hide all my kids games in. It may not be your thing but just showing you so you could get the idea. Chalk paint covers extremely well if you've never used it before you'll be amazed how little it takes. I'm personally very happy with how mine turned out but I like the funky retro vibe it gives and I like pops of weird colors hence the celery green.View attachment 1472175
Did you know that you can make your own chalk paint by adding baking soda to regular paint?

Awesome!! I started a few months ago. I'm up to the Day of the Doctor. Best episode since Turn Left/Journey's End.

I'm not sure what to make of Clara yet. Sometimes she's okay, other times she just seems flat next to Rose and the other wonderfully rounded characters. I liked the impossible girl thing though.
And this is where our sisterly love parts ways.

Yep. Even if someone thinks their bird is healthy, they could be carrying something your birds are susceptible to.

I most certainly did not! Will it cover as well as the store bought? And...Dumb question but would that be oil based paint you mix with? Isn't that what most interior paint is?
