➡I accidentally bought Balut eggs: 2 live ducks! Now a Chat Thread!

Oh you guys went serious! @Tesumph is right about the semipermanent color that's out but last year my sis put blue semipermanent in my niece's hair and it took much longer than it was supposed to to come out. I took a pic of DD2 clamp to show.

At least it came out!
Blue on bleach ain’t going nowhere. :gig
Did you bring feathers from your flock to have installed?
:pop
I was seriously wondering this. I’ve got a pretty big feather collection.
I’ll probably never actually do it but it’s tempting.

Make a Indian hat thing.

So I just did a quick search (so don't know how credible) about where the feathers come from. I read they all come from roosters and the roosters are killed afterwards. That sounds unlikely considering the feathers would grown back again and again right? Besides I can't help but thinking at least these roosters got to make it to adulthood. Got to do more research on this to decide how I feel about this matter but truth is life isn't usually kind to our gentleman feathered friends.

So I've been pondering this... if it is necessary to isolate and quarantine new birds from your flock, why is it ok to sneak new baby chicks under a broody?
New chicks from a hatchery usually are disease free.
