There are nutty Japanese people and totally normal folks, same as Americans.

I had a “friend” in highschool (we were both lone wolves.. for very different reasons) who was a total nutjob of a weeaboo. Obsessed with anime, Japanese culture, Japanese men, thought she could speak Japanese from all the anime she watched, talked nonstop about her future plans to visit Japan.. she went totally off the nutjob rails after highschool lmao.

I'm just really not into the style of animation. I find it so hard to look at. I wish I liked it because I've read a lot of the different story lines and they sound so interesting, but I can't stand watching it.

I'm just really not into the style of animation. I find it so hard to look at. I wish I liked it because I've read a lot of the different story lines and they sound so interesting, but I can't stand watching it.

I think most arty people struggle with the anime style. I tend to pay more attention to the story then the art. My pet peeve is in movies, especially when they try to pass off BS as actual science. For example everytime anyone says we only use 10% of our brain No!(I'm looking at you, Lucy!) If we only used 10% we would have super small heads! If you don't use it you loose it, just like when you break an arm and loose muscle tone.
