I had a friend that would get his horse to kiss him one too many times. The friend was liquored up and wanted the horse to kiss him so his fellow partiers could see it. I suspect the horse wasn't happy about the constant fussing and possibly the beer smel so instead of kissing him, the horse bit his nose off. That accounts for the scars on his nose.
Yea you could do both if you were there all day. We never went into the waterpark area (its very clearly for young children) but covered the entire rest of the park in less than 5 hours, including the better part of the orca, dolphin, and otter/sea lion shows.Random vacation questions (sorry guys... hope no one minds) @KikisGirls what river did you tell me tobtube in with the kids? Also would you all who have been to sea world San antonio say that the water park and sea world could easily be done in the same day or does each warrant a day of its own? TIA
I saw (not in person) a really interesting surgery where they used part of a man’s testicle skin for a skin graft on his thumb. My ex BIL had the meat of his thumb smashed by his son turning on the log splitter at the wrong time. The Dr. sewed his thumb to his belly to graft tissue and skin onto the thumb. He now has to shave his thumb.
Wow, congrats to her on a successful surgery and not being killed by horses! That drain tube sounds pretty neat, I’ve never heard of that. Both of my grandmother-in-laws have had invasive surgeries for problems similar to my own, and they’re doing great now, but that stuff makes me very nervous. My scars are from a knee replacement, gall bladder, two carpal tunnels, two back surgeries, bunion surgeries on both feet and two shoulder reconstructions...,I'm almost bionic.
But younger sister has has a recurring cyst in her brain following a fall from a running horse when the cinch on her saddle broke 32 years ago. She nearly died. Her sons were 6 and 8. Over the years she has had to have the cyst (drained) fenastrated.
Her third surgery was last month and included a drain tube with a pressure valve. The drain tube descends from the cyst down her neck to her abdomen. This should keep the cerebral fluid from accumulating again. Her scar is 2 inches behind her right ear. She is greatly improved and healing quickly.
Wow Nan!Because I was asked...here are a few photos of artwork.
3D is 3 dimensional art...sculpture, pottery, as opposed to flat work like drawings or paintings which are 2D.
My Marlboro Man, pottery - handbuilt and wheel thrown, a Dying Swan ballerina, and a lifesize head.
The sculpture and pottery is stoneware clay. The red burnished pot is Oklahoma red clay.

And some 2D - an acrylic painting and three graphite drawings. The 28 X 35 inch painting of "Hoare Frost" was from an old calendar. The owl was from a photo and the portraits are my daughter and an old friend before she died... Una Alice was 90 when this 18" x 24" portrait was done from a photo. That was over 35 years ago.

On pencil work/graphite I always told my students to try to get at least 10 values or shades ranging from black to white. And a sharp eraser is a great drawing tool for removing thin wisps of hair and feather.
