Because I was asked...here are a few photos of artwork.
3D is 3 dimensional art...sculpture, pottery, as opposed to flat work like drawings or paintings which are 2D.
My Marlboro Man, pottery - handbuilt and wheel thrown, a Dying Swan ballerina, and a lifesize head.
The sculpture and pottery is stoneware clay. The red burnished pot is Oklahoma red clay.

And some 2D - an acrylic painting and three graphite drawings. The 28 X 35 inch painting of "Hoare Frost" was from an old calendar. The owl was from a photo and the portraits are my daughter and an old friend before she died... Una Alice was 90 when this 18" x 24" portrait was done from a photo. That was over 35 years ago.

On pencil work/graphite I always told my students to try to get at least 10 values or shades ranging from black to white. And a sharp eraser is a great drawing tool for removing thin wisps of hair and feather.
I didn’t even properly register this early this morning haha! This is beautiful nanakat, you’re incredibly talented.
I love that snowy landscape so much, and your 3D work is just lovely. What a gift!

Wow, congrats to her on a successful surgery and not being killed by horses! That drain tube sounds pretty neat, I’ve never heard of that. Both of my grandmother-in-laws have had invasive surgeries for problems similar to my own, and they’re doing great now, but that stuff makes me very nervous.

I’m not really sure where my scars go in that poll. I have a faded dog bite on my face, some stupid teenager scars, and an embarrassing amount from sleepwalking.
:th
The very first time I ever talked to my husband on the phone when we were “just friends,” I burned myself horribly with a tea kettle on my inner arm.
He still makes fun of me for it.
Are you Italian? All Italian women have burn scars on their arms from cooking.

You have no idea how much I would love one. :hit
It is a LOT of time and money that goes into training. I just don’t know if we can do it right now.. plus, my diagnosis isn’t 100%, doctors are calling it “undiagnosed epilepsy” or whatever. There’s been nothing on EEG’s, my seizure pattern is wild and all over the place, and I don’t respond to anti-epilepsy meds like a typical epileptic would.

Anyway, TMI. It’s very frustrating, what I wouldn’t do for a dog of my own right now..
