Thanks! I try. I think we have all been there. I was beyond devastated and frustrated when I lost my first chicken to illness about a year ago, I felt it was all my fault, I'd messed up, I didn't care for them well enough, but the fact is that we do our best with the knowledge we have and the tools at our disposal and hopefully, most of the time, our best is enough to keep them happy and healthy and give them a good life.
 
I have an appointment for 2:30.. not particularly happy about that.
The swollen area is much “firmer” this morning, a little more red, and it hurts like the dickens. Looks pretty much the same though.

Well, we don’t actually have a working thermometer in the house. Oops.
Last night I was sweating, shivering, and started having muscle cramps. The Ginger wanted to go to urgent care but I just wanted to sleep. :confused: I’m much better now though!
Thanks for reminding me to get a thermometer haha. I have a feeling the silly doctor is gonna just give me a steroid shot and send me on my way.
