Her duck egg has internally pipped but...I still have a chance because we all know how slow ducks are and I think we might know how quick quail are.

This is funny considering how it all started! I think I may have an i goer! That little duck is working!

I live close to the Hong Kong market in Grand Prairie, plus a bunch of other Asian supermarkets. I've seen Balut but I can't remember if they were refrigerated it not. I know they don't refrigerate their regular duck eggs so I might try that too.

Plus I want to try supermarket eggs from Trader Joe's or whole foods. I haven't checked to see if they sell the fertile eggs yet, but if they do (maybe even if they don't) I'm going to try it. Since I'm shelling out the dough for the incubator, I might as well go all out!
