➡I accidentally bought Balut eggs: 2 live ducks! Now a Chat Thread!

My girls LOVE watermelon too. In fact, I just cut one up and we gave them some today. I like watermelon too so they need to share LOL.

I think watermelon is one of their favorites but they don't get it too often because of the sugar but it was hot so yeah. And the mini ones were like $2 at Walmart so I was like why not haha they ate it sooo fast. Completely cleaned to the skin too :lau

If I have problems with this one, I'll try the LG. It's just too big for my space and I don't need the excuse to try and hatch 50 eggs. Cause I don't have any restraint.
I am sure it will work just fine BUT you must make sure you get a separate thermometer and humidity gauge thing...and calibrate them both.
You have to promise you will do that or I will have a conniption fit.

Mine get some whenever it goes over 110°, I give it to them during the hottest part of the day. I try to make sure they've already eaten some of their feed so they don't fill up on just the fruit. That's also when I let them out to free range in the bigger party of the backyard.

Ordered it already. I didn't want you to have to drive up here just to scold me in person!:lau
Good because I was already trying to figure out when I was going to be Able to take a road trip. You just saved me a lot of gas monies.
:celebrate

110°!? Wow! They would never get watermelon here then lol it wasn't too hot yesterday, yesterday and today were cooler, but yesterday it was still very humid. And I think it was still high 80s. Monday it was 94 and humid and miserable. By the time I got home yesterday, it was getting later and cooling off but the watermelon was cheap and I mostly just wanted to smash a watermelon :lau

It's Kiki's fault! I was just looking but I joined an auction for Japanese bantam and serama eggs. Starting bid was $5 and no one else has bid yet! I wasn't going to do it, but I heard a sweet southern voice in my ear and I couldn't resist.
I don't even own an incubator! I'm eyeballing one from Amazon so I can get it by Sunday.
What brand are you looking at? How many eggs does it hold?
