I think they’re too tiny for eating. Mostly house pets. I’d probably just get a pair or 2 and sell hatching eggs or chicks.Do people eat them too?
Or is that like eating a bantam chicken...kinda not worth it?
House pets like keep them indoors in a bird cage type thing?I think they’re too tiny for eating. Mostly house pets. I’d probably just get a pair or 2 and sell hatching eggs or chicks.
Yep! A lot of ppl keep them in large aquariums or wide cages. They aren’t very weather hardy from what I’ve read so they’d live in the house.House pets like keep them indoors in a bird cage type thing?

You might be ok in Louisiana! I’m in Canada so definitely no outdoor buttons for me.Aw man! I always thought I'd get some one day and keep them in a naturalized outdoor aviary, butbyhis just busted my bubble. I knew people kept them inside often but had no idea it was out of necessity. Thought it was just preference. Well, no button quail for me.![]()

It is actually a very cute little thing.Aww, mice are hard to save.
Bunnies I’ve had more success with. They don’t eat as often.
